Day Trip to Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens

This weekend we took a little trip to the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens in Woodland, Wash., around 21 miles north of Portland. We had been there before but not with the boys. I love the smell of the lilacs. Hulda began hybridizing lilacs in 1905 and on the site you can see many of the varieties Hulda developed.
I picked up a lilac plant at the plant sale and some yummy smelling lilac lotion.
